Don't know if I mentioned this somewhere else, but I am very new to tractor life. Not to say that I haven't handled heavy equipment but farm tractors has not been part of that.
In fact, I think most of my knowledge of farming came from watching Green Acres.
Hang on - I'm working up to something here.
I bought a plow from Titan. They call it a
3-POINT MIDDLE BUSTER. I don't like to bash vendors, especially being so new to the field. I'll just say that the order was a challenge to get here. The box was busted up when it arrived and a bolt, nut and washer was missing. It was probably floating around the UPS truck. Not a big deal.
The plow came disassembled. I followed the one page instruction to assemble and made up for the missing hardware from my junk box. I attached the plow blade exactly as in the picture. It was simply a little sketch.
I had my wife look over my shoulder and she assured me it matched the instructions.
So I drove out to the field and dropped plow. The plow made a nice strip in the field. Did not lift a grain of dirt. LOL
So, I did the obvious and turned it around and I was turning turf. It actually work pretty well for a tool for less than $200. The ground was rock hard, full of rocks and roots.
I plowed it up twice and then ran the tiller over it and added loads of manure. What we ended up with was fine grain rich soil.
