Interesting that some of you guys pick fights with your nonhelpful smart alec comments to other people, and then play the victim.
I know ... try not injecting the comments next time if you have nothing helpful to add. If you just want to post to see your words, how about starting your own thread?

All there when I looked just now. Maybe you blocked me? Is that even possible in this forum? I don't have a problem with it if you did, but perhaps you were tired of my rant. Would probably make the thread make more sense if you could see it all. Or have I been put in the corner?
what I do if I dont Want to read someone’s rant? I just scroll on past.... also, paint; rant away!
If I have something that I feel strongly about, I do tend to get wordy, mostly in effort to EXACTLY explain my opinion. The problem with the written word is that it often comes out emotionless, or more often, seemingly harsh. The same exact words can be said many ways with many inflections, and it will garner either listeners, or hecklers. Text on a screen does not have the same influence.
You are SO correct OP! I remember the example of the sentence, "I did not say she stole the money". Eight words. Put the emphasis on the first word and repeat the sentence. Then put the emphasis on the second word and repeat the sentence, and so on. Each statement means something different.

I don't know it all and don't know anyone that does, that's why I ask questions here. I too have strong opinions but would like to see us give each other more slack than SCF. There are a lot of good points on many subjects on Off Topic. This is one place place I check to see what the pulse of the country is.

D2,,lol you are a real funny guy. Yes I fear I do treat people sometimes like kids, and that does upset some people, such is life. I have spent most of my adult life in the govt and after 30 some years dealing with people, you just begin to inject in to a subject. I have found that in all my time in an enforcement position, confrontation becomes very counter productive. And a simple polite, get your head out of your gluteus and move on, works. If anyone feels I have attempted to belittle them I am sorry,,,,

I noticed he was gone and then I saw a post on an older thread with the word Banned under the username. The problem with forums, any written words really, is that you can't "read" the writer. Posture, facial expressions, and tone of voice make up over 50% of the communication experience. Don't even get me started on sarcasm! It's a bad road to go down on a forum!

I know that was him. I used to chat with him on the S&W forum but I have not been on that one for quite some time. I am sorry that he passed. I liked him. I think I am one of the few on this forum that did.
