Shut tractor off and won't turn over

Was brushhoging stopped to talk with someone and won't turn over any advice would be great. Thanks

Did you check to make sure the PTO level is in neutral?

Unless it's just a simple bad battery I'd say it's a safety switch.

I'm sure you know this but if the tractor is stopped with the PTO engaged it will not start until it has been disengaged. From your description of the problem this could be the issue.
