IDI v2203 E from a carrier reefer unit. I'm getting ready to fire it up. what do I do with the three wires from the stop/run solenoid, they are red white and black. I read where the white goes to a white wire on the starter, red to 12v ign switched and black to ground. Is this correct? Because I read you can remove the whole thing and put a block off plate and it will run? now I don't know what to do. Is the white wire on the starter same as the momentary start wire as well? man this is confusing.

Sounds about right, start circuit kicks solenoid, red or run circuit holds it while key is on. Test them before permanently connecting. Black would usually be ground, one will kick solenoid other wire will not. It will hold.
