Shock absorbing seat

Can someone suggest where to find an air ride type seat for a b2601. The rough ride of this tractor is killing my spine. A while back someone posted about a mechanical seat, search function not working for me . Any help appreciated . In edit I looked on km site no results for the b2601

I purchased a "shock absorbing seat" on Amazon just a coulee of weeks ago for my Cub Cadet tractor. There MAY be a way to retro-fit it but it may take a bit of engineering. The seat, however is spring loaded and adjustable, not an air / hydraulic seat. The good news is that it is less than $100 but it will require some retrofitting on your part. If you are interested I will look up the information and post it.

Thanks Missouribound, really looking for a direct fit non spring seat. The factory seat is comfortable but the springs are pos. I do have a cub cadet mower 2000 series that needs a new seat, maybe the seat you mention would fit

Tisco sells a variety of Air suspension seats and some even have adjustable resistance for the weight of the operator. I had one on a old Ferguson and it was pretty good. Just make sure the mounting will fit your tractor.

Tisco no longer exists per say. It was bought out by SMA (southern marketing associates)

To the OP you will have to modify. To the best of my knowledge, no one makes a direct fit unit.
I had to do the same thing for a veteran who's back could not take it anymore. Removed seat let him do the seat switch bypass and a steel plate 1/4" X 6 "X 10" some measuring, drilling and some extra hardware the aforementioned suspension seats will work.

A friend gave me an air seat from an old highway truck. Put it on my old tractor. A shot of compressed air before i use it and its good for the day. Luckily its a vinyl seat. Considering moving it to the kubota. Have a small compressor and a pressure switch too.

Ok , so a custom base would have to be made to fit which ever seat is acquired . Thanks for the replies

Tractor Supy Company has a suspension seat for around $100. I have installed it on a B7100 and a B2400. The B2400 involved fabricating a seat mount out of some flat stock, but it was well worth the effort.

These spring suspension seats are more like what is in my much bigger Kubota tractor and may be a lower cost alternative and yet much better than the OEM spring seat

Milsco makes the factory seat on my b2601, so I will call them tomorrow to see if they have an air ride seat.. Thanks for the heads up

Not cheaply or easily, aftermarket solutions are almost always better for this!

Rural King as well as K&M Manufacturing have seats and bases including self contained air ride ones.

This suspension must be bad. I have seen several lock up on line and then it has to be rebuild it competently, So a new kind of suspension is needed,

I did and they were out of stock. Thought there might be other option,

Sure you looked at K&M Manufacturing. They are the ones that make 90% of the aftermarket seat bases for everyone else. Michigan Seat in Jackson, Michigan also makes seats and suspensions but I'm not sure if they are retail. I believe they do OEM only. I know they make all the seats and suspensions for domestic Mahindra's.
