I have searched and searched. I have quotes from ~550 -1000. But the bigger question is how reliable are these shippers?

Anybody had to ship their tractor? This is going to ship ~500miles.

Any info would really help.

Thanks
Mike

Hey I found a shipper. (actually several) but one that had the right creds/insurance/bonding and a good BBB rating. Actually saved money with them! I will let the forum know how it goes when I receive the tractor.

Attn: Moderators, if I post the info is it okay to show the shippers name if they did a good job. Or just forward it to one of your guys?

Thanks
Mike

Just last month I had a tractor shipped from Evans GA to Davidsonville MD. I have to say the move went well. My sub-shipper did have a little problem though. If, I weren't prepared he would not have been able to unload the unit as his trailer ramps did not get that narrow. He called me in advance about this and, I told him if he got it here I would get it off. The company's name was Landis Trucking in northern Florida. He charged $650.00 and delivered it within a week. I would use him again. Good Luck

I (and others) have used uship.com.

I had my tractor shipped from Vancouver to the interior by a guy driving back from the coast to Calgary. The tractor had a snapped key in the ignition, Luckily the guy knew how to jump the tractor to get it running.

The site allows different companies and individuals to bid on costs.

I've had friends ship stuff cars/boats/travel trailers up from California using this service.
