First tractor and it's still new to me. Just wondering if this is where my shear pin/ bolt is? I replaced a mangled, very hard bolt and put a #2 bolt in it's place. It's on a 4 foot King Kutter I just picked up. Thank u in advance. Man I love this Tractor (1987 B7200 HST). I also have a FEL, finish mower, and a back blade. Anyone else have/ had this old timer?

The softer bolt is what you want. You may be harassed by having to replace it once in a while, but you won't be breaking machinery.

Yes that is where your shear pin (bolt) goes. Without the bolt that yoke should slide on the input shaft of the mower. To keep it on there should be a c-clip on the end of the mower input shaft. If not get one put on since you really don't want that PTO shaft coming loose at the far end while it is turning 540 Rpm!

C- clip? Anyone have a picture of what you are referring to? Thanks...
