Seeking L3240 3-pt hitch parts

Bought a used L3240 with FEL & Backhoe, and just picked up a box gannon, thinking the 3-pt hitch pieces needed wouldn't break the bank... However, local dealer priced it out at over $2600 ! ! ! YIKES ! ! !

Looking for length specifications of the arms, etc., so I can see whether the small Ford or ??? arms and pieces might work...

PS: it appears there are no Wholesale goods 3-pt for this tractor (according to the fella @ Messicks who replied to my emailed request today)...

Any help, thoughts, or ideas are appreciated...

No real help, but I guess Id be scouring bone yards or looking for a cheap tractor without a loader but with a 3- point hitch just to use for those type implements, before paying $2600.

I can pretty much guarantee you that older / other tractors three point parts are not going to be the same dimensions.

Aftermarket three point hitch parts are always too weak and fail way too quickly!

I believe only the TLB 3-pt linkages are available as wholegoods items. I'm wondering if any of these would be close enough to working where they could serve as the base and unique parts added to create a solution. Thinking the wholegoods items are around $500 and perhaps another $500 in unique items for the L3240 would yield a working set for $1,000... Just a thought but a lot of work.

There's no good reason why Kubota doesn't offer them as a wholegoods item for a reasonable price. You're not the first to be looking for a replacement set.

Did the L3240 and the L3400 series have the same basic chassis? If so, perhaps those 3-pt pieces may work... Just curious, as my service manual seems to indicate they were pretty similar...

Another option would be to consider the non-grand L type arms for the L3240, from the following models to broaden you search:
L2501
L3200
L3800

I just recently changed out my L3800 arms, to the L3240 style, and it was a direct swap.
I found the right side on eBay, but had to order the left side from Kubota in approx. 8 different parts, and it was something like $500 for the one side. Contacting the salvage yards yielded nothing.

Probably will hold on to them, just in case I upgrade to another tractor (put the orig L3800 arms back on my tractor, and move the L3240 to the newer purchase).

I'll keep an eye out for what your looking for and contact you with any finds/updates.

If this is indeed correct; L3800 is the same as all the other "Standard" models (as far as I know...):
L2800, L3400, L3200, L3700, L3301, ect. ect.

If this is indeed correct; L3800 is the same as all the other "Standard" models (as far as I know...):
L2800, L3400, L3200, L3700, L3301, ect. ect.

Do you know if this would include the L39 & L45 also? If so, the L39/45 is covered with the 3pt "wholesale goods complete hitch for $499. + tax & shipping, under part number L3961, which can be ordered from most any Kubota Dealer.

I haven't been able to get a dealer to confirm that it will fit, otherwise, I'd be having one on it's way...

Do you know if this would include the L39 & L45 also?...

I'm guessing here... I don't think they will, those are much bigger than the "Standard" frame.

I'm a little surprised the L3240 arms worked on the L3800.
