Seats for the BX22

I saw an old thread for this, but it was 4 years ago. The replacement seat from Kubota is now $475. Has anybody tried this one? https://www.tractorseats.com/p-944-uni-pro-km-123-bucket-seat.aspx
I can see that the vertical dimensions of the holes are not quite right and I am guessing that the 5/8" size is too big. The price is right though/

Were you talking about the bolt size when you said 5/8"?

I see it referring to 5/16" not a 5/8 .

The bolts with this 3rd part seat are 5/8, the existing seat is 5/16. I think it means widening the existing holes on the seat holder to use the new bolts or using bigger washers.

I purchased one of the "replacement" seats, and it didn't work, and they wouldn't take it back.

This seat (or other sources) will go on sale sooner or later. I got it at US $249 a while back. There is a good photo tutorial here about the install. Took me maybe half a day to do the modification for installation. This was the saving grace to the BX staying in my shop. Game changer for seating ergonomics.

I found all of the necessary material at the local box store and hardware store.

Good seats aren't cheap and cheap seats aren't good.
