While mowing this past Thursday, the operator presence switch (seat switch) on my 6 year old LX2610HSD began acting a bit sketchy. Given its age and the rough terrain that I mow, I determined that a replacement was in order. After a bit of research, I was able to identify that Kubota part #32771-47840 was the correct replacement part. However, I found that this part was ~$80 plus shipping from most dealers. Fortunately, after pulling the failing switch in question, I realized that it is not actually a Kubota part. After some further research, I was able to determine that Stens part #430-457 is an exact replacement for the original seat switch and these can be found for ~$60 less than the Kubota part number. Just wanted to share with everyone in case you happen to have the same seat switch in need of replacement.
