Seat covers.

The covers arrived today and I did a test fit of the Mid Back-25 in the M6060 and it'll be good in there. I then installed that cover in the the MX (shown below) since I wanted to raise the upper part of the seat back to around 25".

Considering that I've had a t-shirt and a cloth bag protecting the seat in the MX for over two years, this is a significant upgrade. The canvas material is very nice and not "grabby" which is important to me. The material has a nice sheen to it and the grey looks good. I do like the industrial appearance and the overall quality in construction is very good. It's a generic seat cover so it's not fitted to the seat the way the Durafit ones are.

I'm going to return the low back seat cover either for a full refund or to exchange for another Mid Back-25. If I go the refund route I'll order a Durafit for either the M6060 or the MX6000 after talking with them about Grammer seats. It would be interesting to compare, but I also like the one below enough that I'd be happy with the same look and function in the M6060.

I'm looking for something in light grey or orange camo. Durafit would be fine too.

My seat Measurements are approx:

Seat Bottom - 16" L, 19" W

Seat Back - 21" H, 17" W

Grammer seat number is MSG65/522

the 522 designation means (5) small, two part seat top, (2) medium width (17.7-19.5 inch), (2) High Back (20.5 inch)

I measured the seats in the M6060 and MX6000.

M6060

Seat bottom - 17" L, 19" W
Seat back with head rest - 22" to 25" H, 17" W

MX6000

Seat bottom - 17" L, 20" W
Seat back with head rest - 19" to 25" H, 17" W

Thanks for the info. I still can't find anything on line that appears to fit. I plan on contacting durafit this week. I'm hoping that if I just give them the Grammer seat model they should be able to tell me which style to use.

When I called Durafit the woman on the phone entered the information that I had entered on their website, and gave me two choices for both the MX and the M depending on whether or not the head rests were removable.

Let us know what you discover after you speak with Durafit. It would be good if they can recommend a seat cover based on the Grammer part number. I can't find any reference to the M6060 seat on Grammer's website or in their catalog.

Look at the seat cover I bought and show above. It's really nice although quite a bit more expensive than the Durafit covers.

I got my Durafit cover for my sawmill seat.

First I needed to address the holes that the limb poked into my seat.

So I used three layers of that sticky back repair material that I see advertised which should give the hole some reinforcement.

I had to make two openings in the back to attach my umbrella brace.

I was very pleased with the cost, shipping interval, and outstanding quality of the Durafit cover.

Got my Durafit cover today.
model KU06 for the BX23S

I took the seat and slider off the tractor to install.....
probably not necessary but a lot easier for me cuz I have bear pawls for hands...

that center velcro was about impossible...

But anyway, I'm tickled to death with the look.
quality seems good... fits well.

Actually, I do not know, but I do know that it seems super tuff. Some kinda cordura.

I doubt that these 5 pockets on the back can/will stay. I am thinking rainwater and sawdust, but I will wait and see.

The MC2/Orange only comes in Endura.

Well crap! I received the Durafit seat cover KU10-PK that's supposed to fit the Grammer seat in the MX but it's completely wrong. The headrest part isn't even vaguely close. I should never have returned the Low back-20 .... urghh! Turns out with the headrest raised in the MX I don't have good access to the rear-most lever for hydraulics which I use a lot, so the 20 would be perfect.

In case others are looking for a cover for their stock MX seat with armrests, the Durafit KU25 is a perfect fit.
