Salt, Seed and Fertilizer Spreader

Does anyone know of a 3 point hitch spreader powered by either the rear pto or 12v that works well for both salt in the winter and seed and fertilizer in the fall/spring?

You definately want one rated for salt, this $200 or so dry material spreader has to be dismantled, cleaned, repainted and lubed every fall. Expect I'll need to replace it in a couple of years.

TIP: get battery powered blower to clean excess salt off spreader / tractor after every use.

Thanks for the tip. I was considering the Land Pride FSP500 but I've read that it's not great for controlling the drop rate when it comes to seed and fertilizer. It is also much larger than I need. I've seen some 12v spreaders for ATVs/UTVs but like you said it's difficult to find one designed for both salt and seed. I'd also need to come up with a way to mount it to either the quick hitch or the ballast box.

A Befco 203 on the back of my old tractor. It handled sand/salt mix nicely

No pics but I modified an electric seeder that was made for an ATV. It has a plastic hopper. I used the plug under the fender of my L3800 to power it. It attaches to the top of my quick hitch and the switch slides into the orange triangle holder. I put another triangle on the hopper itself. The only small issue I had was it throwing seed, fertilizer or salt on the back of my tractor. A piece of card board fixed that.
