I have a 2016 Kubota B2650. When i engaged the handle to lock the brakes it stalled the engine and blew out the 5 amp fuse that controls the safety switch system. I removed the cowl and removed the safety switch that the brake lock handle engaged. Hopefully it is a bad switch. Im not even sure what that particular switch does. Tractor may run fine without it. Hoping to replace the switch tomorrow. Has anyone run into this issue?? thanks

I have on a couple of occasions found the Park Brake switch wiring being pinched by the Brake pedal return spring on B series.

I believe that switch is just to turn on a warning light on the dash indicating parking brake is on.

I used that to add extra LED flashing light to make me aware the parking brake is on.

The parking brake switch on the B2650 doesn’t have a warning light, but it does allow the seat to be unoccupied while the rear (not mid or mixed) pto is engaged with the engine running. The engine can’t be restarted in this condition.

Unless the switch failed in some way that it shorted internally to the frame, it is likely Whitetiger's experience is more likely the cause of the fuse blowing...
