I just bought a 2008 RTV900. It was used as a trash truck in an RV park. It had a dump bed more like a dumpster. It pivoted at 4'6" above the ground. It wasn't going to work for me.
Does anyone have a RTV900 with the dump bed that could post or send me the critical dimensions?
front to back
left to right
front to dump cyl connection
front to pivot point

I could use a picture of how it attaches too.

It looks like if I were to buy a bed one part at a time on ebay I'd have $1,600 in a bent up, rusted miss matched problem. I'd rather make one. I can weld and I have a friend with a break.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

Also the closed length of the cylinder hole to hole please

I see all the parts are available but adding it up is over $2,000 assuming no tax or shipping

Thanks, willy

You can find Polaris Ranger beds all over Ebay for $300. They're 36.5x 54". Might be able to make something like that work.

There are also Yamaha Rhino beds on ebay; again, might be able to modify one from another application easier than building one from scratch.

Don't have any pics, but I talked to a guy who had his old school Ranger bed stolen :confused: and had put a metal box from a small utility trailer on it as a dump bed. Looked odd, but it worked.

Thanks NBKING, It looks like your cylinder attaches further back then what a 2008 might.

For right now I have a simple pallet bed.

The old box should be enough to make an original out of.

That second picture makes it look like a large dump already attached!:D
That's what I took off. It was almost 6' high. If i put anything in it I'd have to dump it all out on the ground to get it out. The pivot point is 2' above where the bed should pivot. It could dump into a dumpster I guess?? Not exactly what I want to do with my tools or grand kids or cooler.

I went by the local Kubota and he had one in for service like mine and let me take measurements.
I was surprised how thin the frame under the bed is. All of it except the ram brackets is 1/8"
This was not a hydraulic lift bed. I still would like to have the closed length of the ram. Center to center
