I have had a RTV 520 on order for several weeks , dealer has no idea when they are going to get some . Does anyone know what going on , why are so many things back ordered .

Check some of the recent posts, this is a regular question every week or so. Short answer - supply chains are busted and there are stoppages, so production is down a bit. Lots of people have been locked down at home and decided they might need new toys for home. Demand is up a bit. When supply is constrained and demand is up, prices go up and it's hard to get things. Messicks reckon they're actually seeing about 5-15% more stock I think Neil said, but it's all going straight out the door.
It's COVID. Here in Canada it means that SOME civil servants have been on holiday for 17 months, have reduced hours, reduced service, no reduction in pay.
So if you need some kind of form or permit you are SOA and add 2-24 months to the traditional foot dragging and indecisiveness. But if you have to pay then deadlines are unmovable, set in stone, how dare you complain, after all we are in a COVID pandemic.

Got mine 3 days ago. Dealer had it ordered for their lot and I just came by at the right time. It’s a really solid machine
