Looking for some feedback from owners of a sidekick with OEM roof lights mounted.

Where are your wires routed for the roof lights? Inside/outside the roll bar from behind the drivers seat?

I just got some bar lights and wanted to put some switches in the dash to control relays under the driver seat, then put the power feed in a wire loom behind the drivers seat and up the roll bars. I don't see anywhere for an OEM wiring harness mount and I don't want a bunch of fugly zip ties if I can avoid it.

Ok, let’s wake this page up. Anyone have any experience with light bars, and mounting them on the premium roof? It has the prong outlet on the front of the roof. Will the light bar just wire into that outlet?

thanks for the input!

You will be on your own to figure things out!

I ended up making my own wiring harness for lights and aux power connections.

I mounter my bar lights to the roll bars using roll bar clamps like these. No need to mount to the roof.

I have the premium roof. So I pulled all the head unit and speaker covers off and it all looks wired. I was hoping an LED light would be plug and play. Maybe just have to run a switch..

thanks again.
