1900 hours on machine, runs great, change all filters regularly, just started not starting with out pumping the gas pedal several times. This happens even after running, manually shut off and then try to restart

Sounds like the shut-off solenoid is sticking. Lift the box and observe the shut-off on the injection pump when you turn the key on and off ( Doesn't need to be running) When you turn the key to off the solenoid should retract then after a short while return to the run position. (when you turn the key on it should do nothing) If it doesn't do that find out where it is binding or it might need a new solenoid if it is sticking inside. Pumping the accelerator is just causing enough vibration to "unstick" whatever is holding that mechanism.
