Hi, I just gotten a Kobuta RTV 900 and I'm delighted with it, I'm new to Gator ownership but I feel like I have to rev very high to get it to start moving, any ideas why this might be, I know it's hydrostatic but still feels excessive to get it to take off. Thanks in advance.

I am assuming it is used??

Have you serviced it as in:
--checked hydro oil level in transmission and tank?
-- should be fairly clear and not smell burnt
--replaced hydro filters?
--brakes (as above)?
-- All wheels free to turn?

I am a firm believer of the adage,

"There are only 2 types of people in this world; Those that have left their parking brake on, and those that will leave their parking brake on"

I agree if new start with basics. Change fluids and filters use oem. If still concern then there are some adjustments. This is a great forum for rtv.
