Hello!

I'm a neewbi here and I'm looking for some advices!

Both parents aren't in very good shape, but they miss the great outdoor! Back at their place they have 1/4 of a mile of forest path, but there're too bumpy... To tame and groom those little forest path (48'' wide) would a rototiller be a good choice?

Rocks, stumps, saplings, roots- I'd say that a root grapler or rake would be better.

I have to agree drag a rake or even a rear blade around and the once its passale drag a spike harrow over or a log to level it out. Once its all ruffed up then drag it out, not quick but do able

Looks like that Jake Rake is something worth looking into. Agreed, not the best situation for a tiller.

We used a box blade to do ours.

I don't know but 3k sure seems like a lot for a box plow, fancy as it is, for my money it aint worth 3k unless you maybe inthe land scaping bussness and use it pretty often,, I would think for that kind of money you could have somebody come in and do it the way you want,, just MHO you understand

Many thanks for your reply!

The Pulveriser sure seems likeable to have, at least to make a nice final product. The ground around here looks a lot like northern Vermont or Maine (Stephen King country… It’s scary with rock, roots, clay, and a lot of moisture…) Where’re 50 miles from Jay’ Peak.

Our local Kioti dealer here in Quebec, Payeur is selling more & more heavy box. His experience goes as follows, 5 ou 6 footer are best, heavier the better (adding weight like a used flywheel…). The standard box just won't cut it, and actually might be to blame for bad reputation here… Since 2010, he’s preordering more and more heavy boxes… and people are happy!
Here’s the model he offered me:

Heavy Duty Box Scraper 625$
