Rotory cutter ?

I have been using my rotory cutter for clearing out small saplings and under growth around the house. Now the wife would like a path cut through the woods so we can see the pond from the house. Just how big of a tree would be safe to take on? I read the owners manual and didn't see that addresed.

Here is the link to the Woods web page regarding the Heritage Cutters. They are a very light weight cutter. Up to 1" diameter brush.

I take it that is the cutter you are referring too?

Personaly I dont like to cut anything over 1 inch thick, anything over that flys all over the place at a high rate of speed and hurts like hell when you get hit from flying debris while trying to operate.
