Wondering if those of you who have taken advantage of the ROPS program (https://www.kubotausa.com/service-support/safety/tractor-safety/ROPS-safety) can post the part numbers of the ROPS kits. There are 7 kits, but many dealers are completely unaware of the program or if they are aware, they don't know how to order it. I'll post them below when they come in so we can create a reference here.

ZD18/ZD21 $290.00

B5100/B6000/B7100/B2500/B6100/B6200/B7200/B8200/B9200 $148.00

Excellent work!

Shipping is often a deterrent - like as much as it cost for the ROPS.....unless you can get it along with something else Kubota is shipping to your local store.

Its worth asking your dealer to have it shipped on a "stock" order if you can afford to wait until the next is scheduled. Many times shipping can be reduced or even be free.

Some previous posts have also mentioned that the ROPS kits may also have model numbers. If you have a part number and a model number for your ROPS kit, please post both.

I've seen mention of this program before, does it a work in B.C.? I was/am unclear if it's for the US only or Canada too.
Let me know, if you can, wouldn't mind ROP on my B6200
Thanks

It's a US only program, do you have any friends in the US that you could use their address to get one from a US dealer?

Darn, that***8217;s kinda what I thought.
Not sure I know anyone who would accept a shipment that big for me :)

Thanks Wolfman.
No you don't have to have it shipped to them, you go to the dealer and pick it up. ;)

I have not done the ROPS thing directly through Kubota, because I found it cheaper to go through the national ROPS program. https://www.ropsr4u.com/

This is an excellent program for anybody who does not have a ROPS.

I called them, indicated what tractor I had, and they sent me an approval email along with this pricing information for the choices which were available to me. For my B7200, the Kubota factory ROPS was the obvious choice for quality, fitment and pricing reasons.

As you can see, I only paid $86.40 out of pocket for a factory setup (I picked the ROPS up at my local dealer) versus the $148 Kubota has listed directly on their website.

Once purchased I believe I sent the program a receipt and they quickly sent me a check for the rebate.

Again, an excellent program. They have sent me an email or two in the past year asking if I knew anybody else who needed a ROPS, or if I had any other equipment that needed one. For one they are concerned with safety, but I'd say mostly they need to keep their numbers up so they receive adequate funding every year.

Regardless of which program you use, I'd encourage anybody that does not have a ROPs to get one- period.

I got a retrofitted Rops from Kubota through the rops program for my early 80s L345DT. Took several months to get 2 halfs that somewhat worked together but I did have to slightly modify the 2nd set to make it fit. Extremely poor quality control issues in manufacturing.

Well, just name your place "DD Farms" and fill it out.

It's a situation where those who write up forms figure if you have a tractor you have a farm! They don't ask what crops or livestock you grow, or how many acres. It's just for statistical information.

@PenderBen - Scholten's Equipment in Lynden is probably your closest US Kubota dealer. They've had me there twice for ROPS through the safety program - it's whole goods so talk to Mike in sales.

I was going to post the instructions in here with the parts list of everything included in the kit, but its a very poor photocopy of a mimeograph of a Photostat or something...

I'll transcribe it and post it. I don't know if Kubota will sell just the parts or if you can only get them as part of the kit, but maybe this will give folks some options, especially outside of the US? The ROPS are made in the US, though, so the part numbers might not all be available elsewhere.

Since I can't find a ROPS for my b5100, can anyone share pictures of theirs? Specifically the mounting points so I can build one.

On my tractor, the ROPS bolts into the 3 point hitch toplink bracket and the pto guard bolt holts. Those parts then bolt over top with longer bolts. On the L245 that's 8 bolts.
