ROPS installation L175 & L225

I have a ROPS for my L185F that came through the safety program. At the time I got mine it was on the corporate website and you provided information there. See this thread for information about that and installation if you want, I installed it myself with little trouble.

First off just want to say im new to this form. I have a L185 2wd I'm looking for maintenance manual and owners manual. The L185 I have is in ruff shape and I like to get it fixed up . It runs but smokes when it is being started and oil light is on. Any help anyone can give be greatfull

Locate the holes in the tractor and clean them up with penetrating oil and run the bolts in before you start!

One step ahead of you on that I already did the 10 on the front mounting plate where the bumper or hydraulic pump would go….. whoever attempted to remove the plow frame that was on there and snapped a bolt. I don’t know why they didn’t just finish taking it off..

Just got one at the local Coeur d'Alene dealer. Just called a few weeks ago and asked about the program, so and he said he'd check into it. Called a few hours later and said it was on it's way. All I gave them was the tractor model. Picked it up yesterday $348 after tax and shipping. With the cost of steel now it probably would have cost most of that to fab one up in my shop (just paid $160 for 2 feet of 3 1/4 DOM tube for an axle sleeve...crazy).
