Rod Bearings

So the rod bearings I ordered for my L2850 are way too small for my V-1702-DI engine. I’ve noticed that a lot of V-1702 aftermarket parts are made for V-1702-IDI engines (Bobcat) . Are IDI bearings smaller? Or is there an early/late difference?

Yes IDI bearings are smaller, the rod journals are smaller.

Bobcat used both the IDI and the DI engines so that can be confusing.

Do you need standard or oversized?

Yes the bearings are the same as the 03 series of engines.
