Yay! 😊 About a 6 week wait. My B2601 arrived this afternoon about 445 pm. Great dealer went out of his way to deliver my Kubbie so I had it for the weekend. Wife jumped into the seat before me. Went straight to the log pile in my work area and practiced using the back hoe....one of the many reasons I bought Kubbie. So happy! Here's a couple pics

Congrats on the delivery 🙌

I’ve stopped short of pleading with the wife to give the lil’ baby tractor a spin. She just can’t get over herself.

The kids — now they love driving it and I have to be careful they aren’t too exuberant...

Excellent!

Upon reading the thread title I at first thought your post was a follow up to one GorHorn posted in a different thread! :ROFLMAO: (sounded political, not to imply GeoHorn's post was)

Great seeing the wife participating...but watch out! You may end up asking her if you can use HER tractor today...

She appears to be giving you the “Don’t even THINK about telling me it’s YOUR turn!” Look. LOL

A couple trinkets for my Kubbie. A side step and a rops anti rattle knob. Actually ordered these before I got my tractor.

Can I make s huge suggestion, get a grapple.
It's way to easy to make a mess of the BH hauling logs with it.
It's really hard on the structure.

Yep. Thanks Wolfman. Tractor was ordered with 3rd function for a grapple but after 6 weeks 3rd function was still on back order with no idea of delivery date. Doing my best to keep weight balanced in the bh bucket. To be honest I'm a little leary of a grapple now as well...after seeing a video of a guy that bent his loader trying to pick up logs with a grapple! I know it's all common sense with operating experience that comes into play.

Interesting video. Sounds like the damage was from getting the loader in a situation where a section of tree weighing well over the capacity of the loader shifted, putting excessive weight on the loader. I suspect the results would have been the same had he been using forks or the bucket.

The guy in the video is correct that machines have limits and they have to be worked within those limits, whether it’s a small utility tractor or a full size excavator or a huge crane. There are plenty of equipment fail videos on YouTube to prove that. I’ve damaged my share of things through stupidity so I can personally testify there is no substitute for knowing your equipment and using some sense.

Grapples are unequaled tools for moving brush, logs, and debris so I wouldn’t dismiss it just because someone had a grapple on when they damaged their loader. I move quite a bit of brush and logs. Grapple was one of my better purchases.

Yes Sir congrads on your new toy errrrr tool,, or should I say Mama new tools,, :) ANd yes by all means a grapple will make her life a lot easyer and make cutting fire wood easyer for you too. And if you are going to wait a really long time for one maybe look into a set of forks, while not as easy for wood as the grapple it is easyer onthe machine like the man said

I have moved a LOT of BRUSH and cut-limbs with pallet forks in lieu of a grapple. Piling the limbs/brush into a pile, then pull up with the pallet forks on TOP of the pile and MASH the pile DOWN.... effectively tangles the brush to itself. Then run the forks Beneath the pile, lift it up and tilt it back a little.... and carry it all off to be dumped. Works better than one might think.
