Looking for LED replacement bulbs bright white with around 8000K and 100 watt rating. Must have high/low beams also. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? Stock lights are not bright enough. Thanks in advance for the information.

8000k is very blue, if your looking for bright and white, ~5000k color temp is best. You also won't find 100w led bulbs but some are listed as 100w equivalent.

You don't say what tractor.....

Some of the hi/lo headlights are not common, but can be found as LED with some looking.

Many of the tractor bulbs can be found as conventional automotive bulbs...all of my BX bulbs are conventional auto bulbs, and easy to find LED matches.

If you look up your bulbs at https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ you can often see a common auto bulb part number in the description.

If you can't find hi/lo LEDs, just add a simple PWM 'dimmer'..bout $10..depends on actual current draw though.

I have these in my MX5000, plug n play, much brighter than stock, nice white light, and they don't melt your socket or housing.

Yes you’re better off with 5000 no more than 6000k if you want bright white.

RCW.. can you tell me which bulbs you used for your BX? Last time I looked I think there was two versions with one having a letter after the numbers or something like that. It kind of confused me as to which one to get so I forgot about it.

Krush - I think headlights were 881/886.

Hazard lights are 1156’s, I think.

I don’t remember taillights, but they’re easy to figure out by looking at a parts diagram.

I don't know about tractor LED headlights but I have bought a few for my cars. I have bought 5 sets of LED bulbs. One, I manage to return did, not fit. Two, do not work right due to wrong due geometry/lack of adjustment. The other two I bought from these guys and those two sets are great in two different cars. If you want avoid a steep and costly learning curve on LED headlight bulbs, I would suggest to watch some of the videos of these guys, they know what they are talking about.

The tractor is a L3901DT. Thanks for all the great information. I have attached pictures of the current bulb.
Good luck with that one.. I have that in my Golfcart and can’t find the right length. It probably doesn’t matter as much for you with length. I found some for it but you could probably light a match and get more light. That’s been a hard one to find.

The ones that @freewheel3 listed above should work with your model. There doesnt seem to be a large offering for that style though...

It appears to be a PX15 socket H6M base, if that is the case, it is not a current automotive type bulb.

Thanks everyone for the great information. I did some research and found the following LED lights on Amazon for my tractor. They fit perfect in my tractor and to my surprise they also work on high and low beams. I ordered what I thought was one each due to not a very good description on them. There is two in the package.

UPDATE: NOPE, NADA, NO-GOOD. Completely INACCURATE representation. The H6 Head Lamp BASE is competely different and DOES NOT FIT. The Kubota PN; 38450-33870 is a very unique base that uses “3-pins-in-slots” which must mate with a rotating-action and may be unique to Kubota. I’m sending it back under the Amazon Prime program.

Meanwhile, I’m still looking for an alternative because the original incandescent lamps are useless in their location (all they do is illuminate the back of the loader-bucket) and draw too much power when all my other lighting is utilized for the 40A Kubota alternator. I do not wish to upgrade to a higher-amp alternator and prefer to find a lower-amp LED replacement lamp. If absolutely necessary I will rather replace the headlamp mounting-base of the tractor to accept a more-commonly available headlamp.

YEP! THOSE!

(I just ordered them and then saw your post...THANKS... and BTW, I apparently went thru this process last-year and then either failed to re-visit the discussion where this solution was offered...or mis-read the retailers’ offer thinking it was priced per each-lamp. The offer is actually for TWO bulbs, so not a bad offer price-wise.. My bad...)

Thanks again.

For us owners of older school Kubotas (first gen L series, etc), pop out the entire round headlight assembly from the bezel, replace with a round, sealed LED unit of the same size (I used Night Rider 3" LEDS from my local NAPA), bolted through a hole in the bezel. If you drill the hole in the side of the bezel (horizontal mount) you can adjust up and down and left and right very nicely. Worked out better than just replacing the bulb, although you eliminate the Low/High beam option for always on.

Is that an ordinary PAR36 lamp?...or PAR46? Messicks website shows a measured 4” diameter.

Also looking for reliable LED plug-and-play replacement bulbs for my L6060 and M9960, both of which use H4 type incandescents.

Anyone know of proven LED replacements?

B3350 is next and I think it takes common 1157s.
