I'm trying to replace my OPC (part # TC420-47902). It seems like there is some click connect on the cable socket that locks it into place and I'm trying to figure out how to get it to release without cutting the factory zip tie that holds the receiver in place. I can see there is a little knob on the OPC side of the plug on the new part so I imagine there must be some way to get that to release.

Has anyone done this before and gotten that to release? I'm guessing there is some trick to this I'm unaware of.

Don’t cut the zip tie! Most of the factory ties are reusable. Push the tab and it will undo.

Like Matt said, just pull up on the tab on the zip tie to release it

Thanks for the tips. I was able to release the zip tie no problem. It did take me a little while to figure out how to release the plug though. Turns out that the indicated lever is not the release.

After looking more closely at the new plug, I realized that the release is on the opposite side of the plug and is on the receiving connector side. I was able to get the lever to release and the plug came loose. Problem soved!
