Hi there.

I have a 2019 kubota svl65-2. Regening too frequently and dealer diagonsed to have clogged dpf. Over 3K hours so no warranty. Couple questions: reman dpf's are significantly less money than new ($800 vs $2200). Anybody have experiences with reman dpf's? And how involved is the swap out? I understand that I'd need to take machine to dealer for computer reset. But might save significant dollars if I do that vs have dealer do full job. Thoughts? Thanks!

as an outsider...it's all in the 'details'....
what warranty comes with the remanned unit ?
heck if it lasts 1/2 as long as OEM, you're still money ahead ( $1600 vs $2200 )
it's not fair you have to pay dealer to reset the computer especially since it's an EPA deal.

Hello

I'm a heavy equipment technician that works for a local kubota dealer.

Removing the dpf it not bad for that model. Find a local truck / service location that specializes in dpf cleaning.
Normally cost between $350 to $650 depending where you go.

Make sure you mark (punch) the outside of the filter before taking it apart.

You can also send it to kubota to have cleaned if you want warranty check out video
