Replacement BX seat

Has anybody tried to put one of these seats on a BX? This is a Rural King model, but Tractor Supply sells a similar one. The original seat on my 2230 might be the biggest hunk of junk in the history of tractors seats. Uncomfortable, unsafe AND cheaply built.

Nope I havent worried about my seat,, if you think your is bad ya try bouncing around on one of yellow tractors,,,

I haven't tried that specific model but Messick's has the replacement (warranty) BX seat available again.

I bought one and put it on a BX2200. Boy, are they comfortable compared to OEM and the other two seats I tried before the Messick's seat. My wife can mow for hours at a time now!

The seat I bought for my B6200D did not show much info online, but the box at the store had a measurement guide so I could verify fit.

I have a 2014 BX25D and I got a 10" wheelbarrow inner tube and filled it about 3/4 then put it under the seat. Under inflating it will keep your dead-man switch from activating. It really does help and is a nice workaround if you can't afford a higher-end seat. I have had 6 spinal procedures done and have both a neck and lumbar fusion and this really helps me out.
