See the green arrow.... this is the plate i`m talking about. If you flip it over, put the holding pin and clip back in to secure the plate to the tractor, you`ll see that the geometry seems to be more in line with the lift arms.

I had some leftover tubing and bar stock from a PTO shaft that I used to make a set of stabilizer bars for my BX. I think I drilled a lot more holes than needed, but they work well and were cheap, I had everything I needed including the hitch pins.
