I had the unfortunate circumstance of having my front left wheel break off from the axle requiring me to replace the front wheel/tire, bolt(s), and front axle of my L2550DT.
I do not know how to replace the front wheel axle (part #31353-43960 or 080 in the diagram) so I was hoping someone could give me a step by step on what I need to do to replace this part (how to remove it, put it back on,etc). Also, I have been quoted $265 for this part. Is this a good price or is there somehwere I can purchase the part cheaper. I would also like to know if theire are there other parts that I have to purchase to replace the front wheel axle like gaskets, bearings,etc? I have attached the parts diagram. I need to replace item 080 in the diagram. Thanks in advance for the help.
