My M105X is leaking hydraulioc fluid out of the shaft of the steering controller. I am gonna pull it myself and take it to my Kubota dealer and let them re seal it. When i pull the shaft and ujoint off of the controller. Do i have to mark anything to make sure it goes back on the same place on the splines. Or does it matter and the steering is controlled mechanically by the steering stops.

There is no need to time the column shaft to the control unit. If it needed to be timed, Kubota most likely would have put a Master spline in it so they would only go one way.
