Removing front wheels

I just bought an L2201 and need to replace front tires. (4.00 x 12)...Do I need to remove all 8 bolts on each wheel (there are 4 outer and 4 more closer to center)...I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I have never owned one before and I don't want to remove something I shouldn't. Appreciate the help

I would jack it up - remove the inner 4, those outer 4 might be for weights - but I bet all 8 have to come off. Just a SWAG......

You should be able to look on the backside to see what ones are in the wheel hub.

85hokie: you were correct. The inner 4 hold the actual wheel on the hub while the outer 4 hold 2 weights on each wheel...the deal was, you have to remove the weights first because with them on, it doesn't allow the wheel to come off the hub (they block the other 2 inner bolts....anyway, that's the deal for future reference for anyone with this model tractor....tks for your help
