Hey All
my front axle (4wd) is leaking fluid at the rear where is supported to pivot, I'm guessing rear seal bad. searched around here, havent located any threads on removing the front assembly. Looks to me steering link, prop shaft spring pin and just those 6 bolts on front of axle? doesnt seem to be enough room to pull front diff forward enough to drop down. any ideas would help. thanks

Why do you want to remove the whole axle? You can probably get the wheel off and get to that seal by taking the housing apart.

I believe there is a work shop manual at Kubotabooks dot com.

Added on edit: now I see tat is at the center of tractor, not the wheel area.

Unless you are actually LOSING a measurable amount of front axle fluid…I’d leave it alone. (and that wetness might actually only be evidence it’s been greased occasionally.)

The seal #2 ( 37650-44580 ) has been discontinued and I do not know of a suitable replacement.
There are 2 O-rings in the rear that might or might not seal the leak that you have.
It's a long shot at best.

when i did a full fluid change last week, only a cup came out of the front diff. I was like uh-oh.. when i refilled, it's pouring back out pretty quick. Definitely needs attention. I wiped it down before the pic.

one thing im wondering about is if the loader frame will be an issue. it's barely 1/4" below the prop shaft, hopefully i don't have to remove it. I'll look for the manual on the site stated above.

6-10-14 are all seals.

There are the same axle in both pictures, just different views.

You don't need to move or remove the propeller shaft.
Just remove the bolt slide the shield back (blue) then pull the roll pin (yellow) and slide the coupler back.
