I have removed every bolt from the front of the 5450 snowblower but I can't remove the auger and gear box.

What am I missing?

Did you remove the chain gear from the back?

Could be rust holding the bearing located behind chain gear.

I haven't taken anything off the back. What do I have to remove from the back? Just the chain gear?
You need to remove anything on the fan shaft. Look for set screws on bearings and sprockets.

The big sprocket has two set screws!

Take pictures before you disassemble, makes it a lot easier to know where and how the parts go back together when it comes time to reassemble. I was working on a snow blower this past summer, and had difficulty getting the bearing out. Then after looking at the parts schematic and the blower, I realized that it was assembled incorrectly. Don't know if it happened at the factory, or if someone at the dealership had their hands into it, and put it together incorrectly.
