Built a removable step for my B2920. One pin under the platform. One tube inside another like a receiver hitch. Easy on and off around the yard, remove it for rough terrain.

Very nice work on the step, I had thought of using a Carr step similar to the one you used but was not sure how to make it removable, functional and look good but thanks to your pictures and the job you did I may try something along the same lines,
There are several different brands of receiver hitch steps available that would be good candidates to be adapted for a similar step.
I made another interchangeable step. This one has more ground clearance when out in the field or pasture, about 15 inches. The first step works good for the wife on the lawn.
