Remote Hydraulics B7800

What is your definition of articulate? Are you just looking for angling?

Yes, pivoting side to side without getting off of tractor.

It can be done. The question is how much effort. Does the blade have provision for cylinders? Then after adding the cylinders you need to add a valve. Thats the easy part.

Blade is cylinder ready so all you need to do beyond that is plumb in a control valve. Got a loader on the tractor?

Then you would need to get the hydraulic outlet block (020, 040, 050) and return fitting (010) to tap into the hydraulic lines for your remote valve. Looks like Messicks wants about $38 for them.

It certainly can be done.

You need to tap into the hydraulic system using something like Dan posted. In my case with a B2910, which is very much the same tractor, the adapter block was a little different.

BUT then you also have to buy the correct control valve(s) and hoses, and the hydraulic cylinder. If you are going to do it, much better to install more than one control valve and be done with it. You will likely find in the future you would love to have at least two control valves.

When I added control valves/rear remotes I installed four, just in case, but think three would be the max needed ever.

So yes you can do it yourself. But it takes a little effort to accomplish. AND more than just a couple bucks for the parts.

BUT worth it, in my case anyway.

Two spool valve with hoses and quick connects - $300.
B7800 hydraulic outlet block and tank return - $40
