Receiver Hitch for my L3301

Just took delivery of a 2014 L3301 HST and Mower and I’m new to the forum. Decided that I didn’t want to drive around with the mower attached all the time and when I removed it the hitch arms flop around a lot. I have a utility trailer and decided to build a receiver hitch to pull the trailer and secure the hitch arms.
I used scrap .120 wall 2” pipe, and square stock and TC receiver stock and Cat 1 adjustable draw pins. So about $18 in parts and a few hours labor and the hitch is installed and it works like a charm.

Thanks mickeyd. lots of them for sale on line on ebay so and I don't want to get into that market. If you were in AZ, I'd just have you come over and we would knock one out in my work shop.

Thx Lil Foot. I bought it new and took delivery in December. Lots of rain and snow here in Prescott so I've only put a few hours on it playing around leveling some gopher mounds in one of the pastures

R AZ, I was stationed at Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ twice. First time was 1967-1969, then they sent me to Vietnam 1969-1970. The second time I asked to go back to Davis Monthan in 1971-1972 when SAC called me a resource and sent mw to Offutt AFB, NE. I really liked AZ, especially the White Mountains and up around where you are.
