Other than available space why would there be a limit?

Possibly 3 from the factory. Look at Summit Hydraulics 6 position manifold that they offer.

I am having 3 additional put on and the dealer told me that's the max for the 4060. I don't have real confidence in them but I've been waiting 6 months for the tractor and don't want to start over again. I thought adding 3 values face me 5 as I thought it came with 2.

I thought you could add up to three, does not come with any (that’s my understanding. Does someone have documentation showing it comes with any standard?). You can select between float detent or double acting valves for the rear three. Small difference in cost for each.

Thanks. I'm going to go to the dealers tomorrow and find out what's ordered.

^^^^^^^^^ This is the right answer.

The "factory" 3 are probably limited to the knock outs for the handles next to the seat.

As an owner you could add as many as you want as long as you could fit them.

Exactly. And it isn’t just the slots, the valve bodies take up space and there’s only so much space between the top of the axle housing where they mount and the fender. I’m confident you could festoon remotes all over it if you mount the valves on the fender or ROPS or anywhere else not so space limited.

And no, that’s not a 4060 but same principle applies unless the remotes are mounted elsewhere.

My understanding is they are all a dealer-add item - that the valves and remotes do not come attached from the factory. Could be wrong, but if you want one or more, all you have to do is ask the dealer to add them (or yourself), and it will look like a factory install.

Possibly limited by the length of bolts to affix the stack of valves to the tractor...all thread is available in ten foot lengths I believe.

LOL and then we could weld a couple ten footers together.

Well that kind of stinks if you want to run a hydraulic top and side link. I don’t have any specific use right now for the third on mine but it was just part cost, no additional labor for the third getting them all together so I have the third in case I ever put an angle cylinder on the back blade or something similar.

I know there are some advantages to A/M remotes, such as not being limited to two and cost depending on what you spec and where you source it. Even in the short time I’ve had the T&T it is really nice to have all the 3 point controls in a small area beside my right hip. Not sure I’d like them as much up on the ROPS or somewhere not as intuitive to just reach down and adjust as desired while driving.

Remotes are not standard from the factory on the L4060. They are a dealer add item and the max number that can be added using the Kubota parts is 3. You would need a diverter valve inline somewhere to go beyond 3.

You'd still be one short.
I think for most people three remotes may be the sweet spot. In my case I installed four rear remotes, but normally to this point only use three, and that is because I have two tilt cylinders.

If I get around to putting a power angle on my rear blade or rake, then I will use my fourth remote.

But without having to tilt cylinders, I think for me three remotes would be the sweet spot…

I agree, 3 is a good number. I'd like to see pictures of yours, why 2 tilt cylinders?
