I do believe that that is the same one you need, but they do vary a little in style from model to model. ;)

Can you put a pic on here of it installed? I’m not understanding where it goes or what it does. Looks like the part on tractor that u attach the top link too. Does it fit over that part as reinforcement?

They don't offer those for the L245DT that I can figure out, but I should make one..

It's not a overlay, it replaces the factory bracket. Just much heavier than the factory installed piece.

This information and part number came from my Hoe manual, not the tractor. That may help get you started.

Got my HD top link bracket installed. Now my rear end, while warm, will be properly supported.

Timely post for me, I ran my L5240 for a couple hours today. I was running a hay tedder, PTO driven. When I quit, the PTO collar and shaft were too hot for me to barehanded disconnect. I think I saw someone post the rear end could get to 180 operating temperature. That heat transfer to the PTO would make it too hot to handle.
