So I attempted to pull out a large holley bush the other day and now it seems like there's a bit of a rattle coming from the back of the tractor now when I'm driving. It almost sounds like it could be something rattling/clinking on the 3 point, but I can't find anything. Pretty sure I never heard it before. Has anybody actually hurt their tractor pulling too hard? Stock tractor with ag tires. Pulling in low range, 4wd, using locker.

Does your locker still work when you engage it? I’m wondering if that was damaged.

Give it a good once over to make sure something did not jar loose.

Did you engage the Diff Lock when the wheels were spinning?

I used my tractor for pulling and had a clevis with the pin going through the hole on the stationary draw bar. When finished I left it there. I soon discovered it vibrated just enough to think something had failed or was coming loose. It was the clevis moving ever so slightly.

Check for something simple.

If you're like me you get to know your machine.. or so you think! Then after doing something like putting some kind of strain on them that made you think about it for a second... you subconsciously hear things that were more than likely there before but now, "what if" ?? 🤔 Hopefully this is the case!

....... Has anybody actually hurt their tractor pulling too hard? ........
Asked by thousands of people throughout history. YES, Yes and yes.

But seriously, if it isn't mechanically timed with the machine running/moving is is probably just something rattling around.

Check wheel and rim bolts for proper torque.
