I followed this thread with interest as I was also looking at the leveling / tilting capabilities of the 3 point. I want a little more tilt for on the rear blade for crowning my roads to improve runoff. There are lifting rods available with multiple adjustment holes for adjustment of the lower link connection. Finding one to fit a BX was probably going to be difficult, or impossible. You could modify a lifting rod to provide more adjustment, but my welding skill are not at that level yet.
I drilled a second hole in may existing lifting rod 1" above the original hole. Using the new upper hole will lower the right end of the rear blade approximately 1" and should provide the additional crowning. When using the upper hole there is possible interference between the lifting rod and the lower link at the lowest 3 point levels. This is not a problem using the rear blade and any binding is limited to lowering the 3 point. Since there is no hydraulic pressure in the down direction there is little risk of damage from the binding.
