Welcome sir.

I hate when I reply a 10 year old thread too.

I think what is more amazing is that he's been a member since 2014 and your just now welcoming him! :ROFLMAO: :p

But then again he hasn't posted anything till now.

I had an L3200 for 6 or 7 years. I recall it was not as easy as some to start after cleaning / replacing the fuel filter or running out of fuel.
The fuel filter was caked with rusty looking gunk, not changed in 10 years. If I were patient I could have got only the bowl and filter cartridge and o-rings from Amazon for maybe $16. I begged for a filter from the local Kubota dealer and got $120 kit with the valve housing/filter base. Put it on the tractor this morning and basically no change in behavior. The bowl does fill promptly when I open the valve on the filter base. It will cough, run for a second and sputter out. There are two positions other than closed for that valve. I have tried the 4 combinations of bleeder and fuel filter valve and still not starting.
Any suggestions about which combination is right and how long I should crank it before giving up?

Have you bled it per your operator manual? Some have to be bled at the injector, others just have some process to let the electric pump push the air out.
