Brakes are on, tractor in neutral, no matter what I do the engine stops when I raise the seat. It always worked before. I tried clamping down the black button and it stays running. Is there an adjustment? I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Some tractors you have to flip the seat OVER - I take it that is what you are doing, rather than just raise the seat?

The engine will stay running with the seat flipped forward when running 540 RPM PTO. If you are running 960 PTO RPM the seat has to be occupied, flipping the seat does not work. I have an over ride switch I use when running 960 PTO on the wood chipper. There are two switches on the seat. There is a manual lock out for the PTO lever in the 960 position. Check both PTO position switches as well as the seat switches.
