I was wondering if anyone has installed a radio into a series 80 BX cab. I have a cab on my BX23S and was thinking that while moving snow in the winter, it would be nice to have some tunes to keep me company. Looking for ideas as to how others have done this.

Don't have a cab on my BX, but if I did it would be a Bluetooth speaker all the way. It would be too easy. There are several types available that have various ways to mount them. Link below to one such example. I'd just pair that to my phone while playing music on the Spotify app. It's basically what I'm doing now, just with Bluetooth headphones (since I don't have a cab). Just my thoughts.

Agreed. For anyone with a smartphone, a BlueTooth speaker is the easy, effective solution.

Bluetooth with headphones or buds. I doubt speakers would sound that great blaring over the noise of the engine,

I guess the ultimate solution is BlueTooth headphones that are also connected to a walky-talkie so that someone can get ahold of you over all that noise.

You can get phone calls through the buds and many are noise cancelling also! Best of both worlds!

WOW! Those are a bit steep! Noise cancelling ear buds are under $100!
Ha. Yeah, I only find myself using 3M equipment when someone else is paying for it!
