Hard to tell from a picture. Smell is the best test.

Open radiator cap and see if coolant is down.

You may have to dry everything and look for a leak with engine on for short time.

How old are the radiator hoses?

Need more detail.

Parked it??? after driving it from where dealer delivered it 100ft to the garage.... or after a few hours of using it to mow or, plow etc.

Have you used tractor before?

Have you had it serviced lately?

Have you serviced anything lately?

I've had it for a couple months now. I mowed for about two hours. Appears to only be leaking when I shut it off. Thanks

would not assume that. Vibrations air patterns etc. when operating may just be moving fluid in different directions that are less noticeable.

Auto parts places these days sell a die you can put in your radiator. Along with this is an ultraviolet light. When it leaks the ultraviolet light can help show you the flow of the leak pattern which may help you decern where it is coming from (be it good like overflow bottle cause tractor is over full, or bad such as a leaky radiator)

Check the radiator really good. Check your coolant lines. Could be as simple as needing a new radiator hose. When hot and not circulating water after you shut it down, it could be causing a slight drip from the pressure, coming from a pin hole by the hose clamp. Check hose clamps as well. If the clamp has been stripped out (only tightening to a certain point and then releasing slightly) then that will cause a small drip as well. Course with the tractor running and having a small leak, the fan will pick up the coolant and toss it all over the place.

Water pump is leaking.
Replace it before it completely fails and causes damage. ;)

Pretty sure Wolfman has nailed it.

Will need to flush radiator and engine block to see if any crud or deposits in the coolant system. Make sure not to put tap water back in which will drop out particles to wear the new pump.

You'll need to temporarily remove the thermostat to do that.

Typically water pumps will leak after shut down, until it cools off. From the trail it looks to me like thats what it is.
A pressure test will some times reveal the leak.
Overflow resevoir may still have coolant in it,mark tank when engine is cold and keep an eye on it. Could be drooling an ounce or so every use.

Check area around water pump. Black light is best investigation tool. I'm not telling you to try this........I would taste the fluid Just a VERY little bit on the tip of your finger. Yes it is poisonous so spit after trying. May even wish to rinse out mouth after or wipe with clean rag. Antifreeze has a very sweet taste. Oil tastes like oil. Easy answer that I have done back when I was an auto mechanic and NO it never killed me or made me sick.:D

I ordered a water pump assembly, gasket, lower radiator hose, and small elbow hose, along with the service manual from Messicks. I guess I'll find out how big of a job this is. Thanks for the advice.

Replaced the water pump but haven't refilled the antifreeze yet. Hardest part were the 4 screws in the fan. What a PITA!
