I was bush hogging a lots of weeds and seeds/fluff was everywhere, including the grill screens. Eventually the temp gauge started climbing, so I knew the screen in front of the radiator was clogged, which it was. The problem was getting hold of that screen to pull it out. I finally managed to get it out, but afterwards thought of a new/better way. Duct tape. Yep, just pull the screen out and put an inch or so on the screen creating a tab to grab onto-now it comes out easy peasy.

I have a L2501 and the screen in front of my radiator has small tabs to grab on each side to pull. The L3301 doesn’t? Odd.

The problem I have is the loader arms have to be raised to pull it completely clear.

I think they all must be raised. I am not fond of standing under a raised loader without piston stops to prevent the loader from dropping should something fail in the hydraulic system. Oh well.....

Oh, don’t get me wrong. The arms are raised and cylinder safety stops installed before I get under them, too.

Where do you get cylinder safety stops, or how do you make them?
Some people use aluminum angle to sit in the shaft. Use sticky felt on the angle to prevent scratches.
Personally, I just use unistrut under the bucket to the ground.

Wow, I never knew how easy I had it. On my LX, I only have to open the hood to pull the radiator screen.

When I was mowing down tractor high plus weeds in two small fields that I reclaimed, I was stopping about every 20 minutes to pull the screen and blow off all of the seed heads from the radiator and the hood's grill with a leaf blower - all with the loader in the down position.

+1

This is what I do too. However, I can see the value of making one of those "blocker thingy's" for when you have to "move around" to get to things.

I was wondering what "peasy" is, and found the definition.

"Peasy" is an informal British adjective that means "very easy" or "presenting no difficulty at all". It's a reduplicative of the word "easy", meaning it repeats the sounds of the word. "Peasy" is often used with children and is frequently seen in children's slang.
