I hate to hear that you couldn't play with your toy. I have a similar situation. I went through 3 tractor purchases before I found the tractor that I want to keep. It is an L1501. The radiator leak that I have is on an L175. It seems to be small. I will try your remedy and let you know how it worked. I'm sorry that I am not of much help. But, if your experience helps me I will share it with the community. BTW, my nearly new Landpride 48" tiller has a loose chain drive and is leaking oil. The oil leak is a minor problem, because it still has plenty of oil to lubricate the chain and sprockets once the oil level reaches the bottom of the seal. I found instructions on how to tighten the chain tension on the web. A quick turn of a couple of wrenches should do the trick. Congrats to you on your new tiller. Trust me, you will love it. Even after running mine for 30 minutes to till my garden and hearing the chain knocking the guard, I am totally in love with my 3 point tiller. I just need to spend about 30 minutes to tighten the chain and all will be good. I plan to take care of the leaky seal later. Good luck to you.
