R400 differential

Have the usual problems broke the rear gears in the axle.Any one ever find anyone to make new ones i got some prices but they were more than the machine. was looking on alibaba the will make but its pretty hard to know if its going to be good.
Are there any specs drawn up for the gear set, hardness, metal quality?
There are carriers on Ebay brand new LSD. 1500$ listed for the 410 but appear the same i bought one any ways going to try it soon.
Mabye make a couple set of the gears if i could get a couple people together they usualy get a lot cheaper after the first one.

hey man got your email,havent been on in a while.i tried rush gears wow quoted me 30 grand i was like uhhhh yea let me check my change jar.the carriers on ebay are the same.same ring gears too both center sections front and back are same for r400 but r410 is different even tho has same ring gear,pinion is different. i found a new cast housing on machinery trader on a guy shelf got it for 900, then a pinion form messicks, 400 and found a rear axle from a 410 i salvaged ring gear carrier and bearings from.problem was also when i decided to service the wet brakes........they dont make the inner o rings anymore but got one super close under generic kubota part number. heard from at least 10 guys same problem design flaw center of housing cracks then just explodes.i put the 400 and 410 case next to each other thickness and design gussets and whatnot are huge difference. cross reference part numbers on messicks or coleman equipment its free so. if someone had a hobber id make em myself or 5 axis. best to do both pinion and ring same time better match on teeth

I bought a machine that had a bad trans. Saw the price on quick gears crazy stuff.
I sent out some inquires on alibaba haven't heard back.
I have been trying to figure out the base problem. What is the first to go ithought the ring gear failed but it doesn't make sence. My whole gear is perfect except the small area of failure, my carrier sheered next to the ring gear.
What does yours look like? Im going with the new carrier I got on ebay. Trying to figure this out so I don't have to do this again.

mine was the case,got the machine for nothing so figured give it a shot and it has the backhoe attachment.looks like the case failed and basically the gears were rotating with no fluid a 1/4 inch out of whack and they ground away.ill post some pics i still have all the old stuff.tonight. when i got it apart and started calling around was when i found out they dont make to much for it anymore.

if i had a shop to work in i probably would have shortend a couple dana 60's and put 6.14 gears to match the kubota and shimmed them under would have been way cheaper and more durable

that was my plan also. Like to see the pics this diff is really solid
looking.

wow a second machine.thats a great find.yea guy had it behind his studio and said others inquired and wanted to cut it for scrap.i got it running and he was like you can move it today all yours. ill take pics of the refurbished axle tonight.in mean time that is the rear case. if you look at right side it starts at top like a coffee cup ripping then goes all the wat around to front in spiral.

Cost me 4000. For the other machine had bad trans.
I took the new diff apart I think it was completely rebuilt in the past.
All the bolts have red locktite on them ussaly don't see that factory.
This is old and new gear metal deffinetly is different, has the ingraving on it.
