Hi. I purchased a L3560hst with the R1 tires. I would have preferred the R4 tires but they are 2-4 months out. Can I fit R4 tires on R1 rims later? I currently have 12.4-24 rears and 7.2-16 fronts. Thank you.

For most rims, no. I don't know about the L3560.

There are some R14 tires that are available for some R1 rims. Depending on the number of tractors in the area, you might find someone willing to trade.

Thank you. I feared that.

It's likey the cheapest way to do the swap is to go to your dealers sales ( not parts) dept and get the tires and rims mounted thru " whole goods".

You might just run the R1s for a while. Maybe you’ll like them?

You're probably going to need something like a 10.5x16 rim for the front and a 420/70-24 for the rear for R4's

If you don't use it a lot on the lawn, the R1's might suit you as GrizBota said. I have R1's on a small tractor and it is OK because it's a lightweight. It's a little beast in snow and what little mud it's been in.

Last 3 tractors have all had R4's and I grooved the last two. Haven't needed chains in Winter.
