Recently brought home a quick hitch for my LX2610. Most all that I see are made for the larger class 2 pins, including this one. Folks generally spend lots of money replacing the pins on their implements.

Instead, has anyone ever bent a strap as a gap filler to the hooks to get rid of the clearance of a class 2 hook with a class 1 pin and welded them in place?

They sell bushings to covert class 1 pins to class 2. Put the bushings on your implement pins and now you have class 2 implements to connect to your class 2 hitch.

Yes, I've seen posts on TBN or TratorByNet where this was done

Yep easiest solution.. or you could wrap or fill the gap but first solution is more doable to be able to switch back and forth if needed.

My tractor has a category 2 hitch. I recently bought an implement with category 1 pins. I bought category 1 to 2 conversion pin at TSC. The threaded side is cat 1 to match cat 1 implement holes and the pin side is cat 2. The conversion costs less than $20.

Yep. Take a look at this youtube video from "Dave Knows How".

I am sorry I am confused…are you trying to use a cat2 QH on your LX?

sounds like that...
he has CAT1 implements and needs adapters to fit them onto his CAT2 QH.
On another thread I saw most QH are CAT3 ! so 'one size ,fits all', with appropriate adapters.
